Shay Guardianship and Care for Wards Ltd. is a professional corporation providing guardianship services for individuals unable to manage their own affairs (such as the elderly, people with disabilities, individuals with mental health challenges, minors, etc.).
The corporation is frequently appointed by Family Courts, particularly in cases involving legal disputes that require the protection of vulnerable populations and those unable to care for themselves. It has extensive experience in lawsuits for the restitution of property, personal status claims, and civil law matters.
Alongside its legal work, the corporation also provides personal care in daily life matters.
The office employs eight staff members, including lawyers, social workers, and therapeutic professionals.
The late Adv founded the firm. Margalit Noah, a second-generation lawyer who was admitted to the Bar in 1970. Her daughter, Adv. and Social Worker Liat Noah, represents the third generation, was admitted to the Bar in 2004 and certified as a social worker in 2009.
The firm’s specialization in guardianship began with the late Adv. Margalit Noah, whose son Shay (after whom the corporation is named) was born with Down syndrome. Her personal commitment was to protect him and other vulnerable individuals and to promote their rights in Israel.
The office was established in 1956 by Adv. Shlomo Cohen Tzidon, a renowned lawyer and Member of Knesset.
