The Butbul Law Firm was established in 2023 and specializes in representing disabled security forces personnel, victims of hostile acts, and individuals suffering from post-trauma before the Ministry of Defense, the National Insurance Institute, and the courts. Operating as a boutique firm, every case is personally managed by Adv. Butbul from the initial consultation through to the final decision.
The firm accompanies clients in claims for recognition and the determination of disability ratings, claims for aggravation of condition and the recognition of secondary disabilities, appeals to the courts, and representation before medical and appellate committees. Alongside this, the firm represents police officers wounded in combat on October 7 in claims against the Palestinian Authority and the PLO pursuant to the Law for Compensation of Victims of Terror and acts to attach assets to secure the realization of compensation.
The firm's working method is based on a comprehensive examination of the client's condition, the establishment of a thorough medical and legal foundation from the very first stage, and the full realization of rights, including rights that many clients are entirely unaware of. Among the firm's achievements: the recognition of post-trauma in a police officer who served at a command center on October 7, after the Ministry of Defense retracted its position; and the recognition of secondary disabilities related to post-trauma, including diabetes, with permanent disability ratings.
Beyond individual representation, the firm also acts in the public sphere. Adv. Butbul appeared on a voluntary basis before the Knesset Committee on Labor and Welfare regarding the recognition procedures for disabled security forces personnel and formulated a legislative bill to amend the Discharged Soldiers (Pensions and Rehabilitation) Law regarding the determination of temporary disabilities.
