I.S.I. was founded in 1971 as a subsidiary of the California-based Varian company. As of 1977 the company is Israeli owned.
The company has 26 employees: 8 sales-engineers, 8 service engineers and 8 administrative staff.
The company markets and sells scientific equipment and provides technical and applicational service for this equipment.
I.S.I. owns the exclusive representation in Israel of the following leading companies in the U.S.A. and in Europe:
- Radiation therapy equipment: Varian Medical Instruments from California, Wellhofer from Germany, Arplay from France and others.
- Vacuum instruments and technology equipment for the semi-conductors industry and other advanced industries: Varian Vacuum Italy/USA, VAT Switzerland, MKS Instruments, Watlow, Lytron, AJA, AXIC, Pure Tech from the US, Flowlink and Sopra from France and others.
- Chemical analytical equipment: Varian Analytical Instruments, CEM, TekMar, SSI-LabAlliance from the U.S., Schmidlin from Switzerland and others.
- Consumables & supplies for analytical equipment: Varian Analytical Systems from the Netherlands, Sun-SRI, J.G. Finneran, National Scientific from the US, Thermo-Hypersil, Jencons, Starna-Optiglass from England, Grom, La-Pha-Pack from Germany, SGE from Australia, VICI-Jour from Switzerland and others.
The company has an outstanding service department, with service engineers who followed a lot of complementary courses abroad, in the areas the company deals with.
The company has a large stock of replacements parts which allows an effective maintenance and a prompt response to all service calls.
