The law firm of Berman & Co. is a family-owned boutique firm which was founded by Adv. Dan Berman.

The firm's insurance and tort department has expertise, vast experience and legal proficiency in the various segments of the insurance industry, and it accompanies private individual and business plaintiffs throughout the entire legal proceeding, personally, professionally and comprehensively, including representation and appearances before the courts.

Real Estate

The real estate department accompanies private individuals, entrepreneurs and companies in real estate matters, in a variety of real estate projects and transactions in the private and the commercial markets, including drafting sale agreements, rental agreements, real estate partnerships and dissolutions thereof; real estate tax and facilitation of joint ventures; registration of multioccupancy houses and providing legal opinions on real estate matters.

The department offers a complete services package to its  clients – representing then throughout all of the finance and financial facilitation stages, comprehensive real estate tax advisory and ongoing representation before various authorities.

Third-Agers Rights

Our firm accumulated extensive experience in providing legal services which are customized for the needs of third-agers for a peaceful and safe future. Our experience has taught us that third-age clients and members of their households are not aware of all of the rights for which they are entitled, including in the fields of long-term care, wills drafting, preparing lasting power of attorney, probates and will enforcement orders and applications for appointing guardians.

The concept that led us to establish this department was based on the understanding of the need and awareness to the provision of professional, creative and high-quality counsel for third-agers, which requires a different approach and perspective. Our firm accompanies the clients across all third-age aspects and assists them in every step of the way, while providing personally customized legal solutions for each and every one in accordance with their needs.

Furthermore, our firm specializes in providing legal counsel and support during the drafting of agreements for buying and/or renting assisted living properties, facilitating caretakers or foreign workers through companies that provide long-term care and welfare services, legal representation for exercising rights vis-à-vis financial and governmental institutes (National Insurance, pension funds, foreign annuities funds) and in legal representation and litigation in courts and tribunals.

Management of Family Wealth and Trusts

Our firm specializes in managing family wealth for high-net-worth families, including family capital management, including planning intergenerational transfers of wealth, drafting agreements between family members and establishing trusts; planning and managing estates, handling probates and will enforcements, drafting wills and living wills;

Drafting nuptial agreements; accompanying real estate transactions in family contexts, dividing and liquidating estate assets and gifting inside the family; appointing guardians for persons and properties, lasting power of attorney and any action that relates to the Legal Capacity and Guardianship Law.

Civil-Commercial Law
