Israel Cancer Association (Registered Nonprofit) is the leading organization in the fight against cancer. Its goals are to reduce cancer incidence and mortality, provide assistance, support, and improve the quality of life for patients, survivors, and their families, and promote public health for all.

Founded in 1952, the ICA is a nonprofit organization operating solely through public donations. Its activities and supported projects are determined by professional committees comprising top medical and research experts nationwide who volunteer their time. These projects are carefully evaluated based on professional and objective considerations to benefit the national agenda.

The ICA's decades of activity and the broad range of fields it has advanced have earned it widespread public, national, and international recognition. The association has twin groups in several countries and representation in international cancer organizations.

To achieve its goals, the ICA engages in various initiatives: Funding and promoting cancer research, Initiating and supporting national programs for cancer prevention and early detection, assisting in the construction and renovation of medical centers across the country, Providing financial support for purchasing medical equipment for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. Funding positions for healthcare professionals and services in hospitals and the community, Offering support, rehabilitation, and welfare services for patients, survivors, and their families, promoting public health, and conducting extensive awareness campaigns to reduce cancer risks through adopting a healthy lifestyle.

The ICA's activities are made possible exclusively through public donations, with salary and operational expenses constituting less than 10% of its annual budget.
