Afifi Ltd specializes in the wholesale marketing of construction materials, both to contractor companies and to stores, offering a variety of construction materials and accessories, and is currently considered one of the largest and most reputable companies in the country. The company, founded in 1967 by Mahmoud Afifi, provides its customers with a wide variety of products, which include, among others, ceramic adhesives, gray and black cement, sand, gypsum, and gravel.
The company began as a transport company for trade organizations and industrial plants, but since 2004, when Muhammad Afifi took over management, it has changed direction. Today, the company acts as the marketing agent for Nesher Cement Company, one of the largest cement producers in Israel, and is also the exclusive wholesale distributor for "Termokir". Furthermore, M. Afifi imports limestone and gypsum from abroad, thus providing a more extensive and comprehensive solution to all of its customers.
Marketing Building Materials Nationwide
M. Afifi Ltd operates nationwide and markets its products in the Palestinian Authority as well. It holds a share of about 30 percent of the Israeli market in the field of white cement, and 15 percent in the gray cement field of the Nesher Cement Company. A fleet of about 23 heavy trucks is used by the company to transport all its products across the nation. Moreover, the company's employees are involved in general transport, both for the public and private sectors.
With an area of nearly 17 dunams, including a logistics center, a large container terminal, storage space, offices, parking areas for its large fleet of trucks, and more, the company offers fully tailored solutions to its customers and professional quality service. Nearly 27 staff members work at the company's factories in Migdal Ha'emek, including laborers, transport drivers, warehousemen, and other employees.
