The Firm was founded in 1968 by Adv. Aharon Tirer. Since its establishment, it has expanded and included approximately 17 attorneys (including an experienced litigation department), as well as interns and a skilled administrative staff. The Firm is managed in practice by Advocates R. Tirer and E. Tirer, who joined their father about 20 years ago.
The Firm began with specialization in the commercial-civil field, monetary claims, routine consultation for companies, accompaniment of real estate and other transactions. The personal status field, estates and inheritances, family law and divorce cases, including all secondary issues in this respect, began the primary and leading field at the Firm, and in the last 30 years it has become one of the leading firms in this field.
The Firm handled personal status cases and divorce cases among the most famous in the state, including well-known precedents at the Rabbinical Court and civil court (today the family matters court), as well as various High Court cases, including cases involving alimony for cohabitants, claims regarding the application of the Eavesdropping Law, and claims regarding child abduction, succession disputes and handling of large estates. In addition, the Firm has handled spousal property agreements and pre-nuptial agreements.
Most attorneys at the Firm (about 17) engage in the personal status field. The Firm has an experienced litigation department and the lawyers at the Firm appear, constantly and on a daily basis, before the various courts: family, magistrate's, district, including the Supreme Court, as well as Rabbinical Court and the Great Rabbinical Court, as well as the Supreme Court in its capacity as the High Court of Justice.
