AY Electronics Group (A.Y. Electronics Ltd.) specializes in comprehensive supply chain management, from product development through serial production, with a strong focus on customer needs, uncompromising quality, and operational excellence. The Group was founded in 1980 by the late Arik Rod and is currently led by his sons: Yaniv Rod, President, and Itay Rod, Vice President.

The Group provides its customers with top-tier services across more than 100 diverse projects in fields including defense systems, medical equipment, IoT, and HLS systems. As part of its expanding solution portfolio, the Group acquired 100 percent of Shiratech Software, a company specializing in software- and AI-based solutions for monitoring and predicting failures in drive systems. In 2023, ZT Technologies also joined the Group as an additional division, significantly expanding the Group’s capabilities in providing EMS services and end-to-end manufacturing solutions. This integration enables the Group to offer a comprehensive and unique solution across all stages of development, production, and ongoing operations, while maintaining high quality and maximum customer satisfaction.

Group Divisions

Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing Division

This division provides comprehensive solutions, from BOM component verification and pricing, through production cost calculation and full manufacturing process management. An experienced team of engineers and technicians, working together with selected subcontractors, operates according to the most stringent requirements to ensure complete customer satisfaction. The division complies with advanced regulatory standards, including ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, and offers full transparency, high professionalism, and end-to-end manufacturing solutions, from electronic boards to finished products, including functional testing prior to delivery.

Manufacturing Division - ZT Technologies

In 2023, the Group acquired ZT Technologies (Tzemach Technologies) to provide customers with a comprehensive and unique manufacturing solution. Founded in 1986, ZT is a leader in electronics manufacturing, offering advanced EMS solutions and full Turn-Key services for the production and assembly of electronic systems. The company uses state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and world-class assembly equipment.

The integration of smart processes, advanced manufacturing capabilities, and an efficient global supply chain enables ZT to focus on small and mid-volume production runs characterized by advanced technology and high-density assembly. The company’s service portfolio includes advanced SMT technologies, selective and manual wave soldering, integration and packaging, prototype engineering, testing and quality control, reballing and repair services, DFM and DFT redesign, and RMA support. ZT specializes in providing solutions for the defense, medical, telecommunications, and consumer electronics industries.

Electronic Components and Procurement Division

The Group’s longest-established division is responsible for supplying active and passive electronic components with high quality and availability. The division maintains representative offices worldwide, including in Germany, Korea, Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong. Drawing on more than 40 years of experience and extensive relationships with authorized suppliers and distributors of global manufacturers, the division provides a wide range of components, including processors, memory, sensors, and more.

The division excels in resource allocation planning (RAP), inventory optimization, and global distribution, and offers customized solutions, including sourcing hard-to-find components and professional consulting in component selection and definition. Work is carried out in close cooperation with customers’ engineering and development teams, using advanced information systems for management and control, to ensure continuous availability and fast, responsive service to customers worldwide.

Community Involvement

AY Electronics Group views community contribution as a central guiding value in its operations. In parallel with placing customers at the center and delivering tailored solutions across the entire supply chain and manufacturing process, the Group works to support underprivileged populations and is actively involved in a wide range of social initiatives. The Group assists at-risk youth, senior citizens, and families in distress, promotes initiatives to improve quality of life and community integration through accessible technology, supports the funding of computer technician and application development courses for at-risk youth, and donates food packages to disadvantaged families and elderly residents in public housing.
