Weinberg & Weinberg was founded in 1950 by the late attorney Leah Weinberg, one of Israel’s pioneering female lawyers. Leah served as the president of the Association of Women Lawyers in Israel. She was the first woman in the country to receive the Israeli Bar Association's "Women in Law" award.

Today, the firm is headed by her eldest son, Attorney Israel Weinberg, one of the most prominent and experienced lawyers in Israel in tort and medical malpractice law. Attorney Weinberg is also a lecturer, an active member of the Israeli Bar, and is deeply involved in public service and community work. Over the years, he has been responsible for several landmark rulings that revolutionized evidentiary law and overturned longstanding legal doctrines, for example, the Amar Smadar v. Clalit Health Services case, which resulted in record compensation of approximately 12 million shekels, and the Rachel Yehezkel v. Eliyahu Insurance Company case, where he succeeded in overturning a decades-old precedent and established a new legal doctrine known as “estate acceleration” - his legal innovation.

The firm’s team comprises five seasoned attorneys, including Dr. Michael Tzur, who is both a physician and a lawyer.
